this weekend. was so hectic but so fun and hilarious at the same time. it all started on friday night when megan and i had to do a "diversity activity" for one of our classes, and went to a show suggested by our teacher... put on by the kinsey sicks. yep. definitely a DRAG SHOW. which i guess is fitting since in class we have been talking about sexual orientation. but still. so weird, and i have NO idea how to write a response paper to turn in. yiiikes.
so on our way to the performance, i got a text from chelsea carver, my little wish girl cami's mom, wondering if i wanted to use their tickets to the jazz game. (thank you chels!!) i said yes, and she emailed me the tickets. so we get to the performance, which was at a slcc campus, and went to the library to print out the tickets. nope, closed. so we decided to go back to megan's to print them after the performance.
we get to megan's... and the printer refuses to work. kept giving us some lame error message, and we were already late to the game. so i was trying to think who i knew that lived close, so we could use THEIR printer...
called clay, didnt answer.
called mikey, didnt answer.
megan called jessica, didnt answer.
so i called my grandparents. didnt answer.
but we went over anyway.
i rang the doorbell and ran downstairs to the computer. of course the computer takes its sweet time booting up, and then my grandpa double clicks the internet icon like 19 times which just makes everything go slower and give you the nice little (not responding) message.
so i finally print out the tickets, run up the stairs and out the door to the car and we drive away.
and then i realize my wallet is on the counter of my grandparents house.
so we turn around, i ring the doorbell again, and my grandpa just stares at me like... what are you doing here...again?
so i grabbed my wallet, he laughed at me, and i ran out the door again.
we got to the game and there were two guys sitting in our seats.
"sorry boys, these are ours."
so they left and we sat here:

watched the jazz go on a downhill slope from like a 15 point lead...

sat in front of some very loud and annoying laker fans...
but it was so fun.
laughed so hard the whole night.

after the game we walked in a cloud of secondhand smoke to our car...
and made a late night taco bell run.

saturday morning i granted a shopping spree wish for kimberli...
(in the front in the tinkerbell shirt)
and at first she was super shy...
but she loved the limo and eventually we found a lot of things she wanted.
we went to lots of stores and had lunch after all of our shopping.
she got lots of tinkerbell stuff... a bunch of squinkies...
a laptop, a tv, a nintendo 3ds...
and we spent about $1600.
here she is with all her loot.
it was fun to do this last wish with joey before he moves to LONDON after his wedding in a month!! (jealous. i want to go there!!)
then while the boys were at priesthood, megan and i went to get some hot chocolate at cafe perk which turned out to be not that great (if you want the best cup of hot chocolate of all time, go to hatch family chocolate on E street.)
and then we went to see rango.
ended the night with harry potter 6 and one of my moms traditional conference sweet rolls.
mmmmmm.
what a wonderfully adventurous weegggend we had! lufff you!
